Mr. Rameshwar Singh Jamwal

Mr. Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, a science student and a law graduate from University of Jammu, J&K, India, has also done Diploma Course in Criminology and Police Sciences and he is also having Diploma on United Nations and International Understanding. He is a practicing Advocate of J&K High Court, in India. He has remained as Sr. Panel Counsel, Government of India and also a Deputy Advocate General of J&K State. He is an avowed Yoga practitioner for more than thirty years and is also the President of criminologist Society of J&K and is working in crime reduction programmes for the last more than thirty five years. He has propounded a Crime Theory, called Yogic Crime Theory, which talks about the role of Criminology in boosting Economies of nations by reducing crime rates and how we can cope with such problems, for which he has copy rights issued by the Government of India, and is also the author of Three books, ‘Controlling the Mind of a Criminal, the Yogic Way” the “ The Sixth Force in Cosmos” and “ Misgoverned Kashmir, the Indian Bane”. He has written more than hundred articles in various newspapers and presented papers in many international and national level seminars, including three papers in United Nations Organized conferences in Bangkok, Salvador, Brazil and Kyoto Japan. His work has also been referred in UK’s Justice Parliamentary committee. He has chaired a session in one of the conferences organized by International Society of Criminology. He has also delivered lectures in prestigious institutions like IIPA, Jammu University, J&K Police Academy, J&K police and many other places and his concept is useful for nations, communities, groups like professionals from Justice system, individuals etc. He is also associated with many NGO’s and social organizations. He heads a NGO, Criminologists Society of J&K under whose banner, he has organized dozens of crime reduction programmes and mobilized thousands of social and political workers, teachers, students, police officers and many more sections of society, which sections of society can be mobilized in other states/UT’s and rest of world, for creation of better and peaceful societies.
