From Fear to Confidence: Abiya’s Math Journey
Abiya, a student from a remote border area of Rajouri district, once feared mathematics due to limited understanding through traditional teaching methods. With support from the National Development Foundation, smart classrooms introduced interactive, visual learning—helping her grasp concepts with clarity and confidence, even in a challenging rural setting.
Today, Abiya enjoys mathematics, participates actively, and even helps others learn, emerging as a confident voice in her classroom. Her journey reflects the vision of National Education Policy 2020 and advances SDG 4 Quality Education and SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities, showing how technology can bridge learning gaps in border and rural communities.
